That storm by Fayette / Mcbride looks bad on my basic radar app. Is that a large hook developed.

The Natchez area is really in no man's land as far as velocity maps are concerned. KLIX, KPOE, and KDGX all have Natchez on the periphery.

By a thunderstorm, yes, but no rotation at the moment.

Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

That is a textbook hook echo, but hopefully the convection from the south cuts it off.

The PDS watch area is looking pretty cluttered, hopefully that helps keep things in check tonight.

Cell NW of Forest, MS seems to have cycled through that convection that came up from the south and has some broad rotation again.

The rotation is outside of the tornado warning area now but they haven't extended it. Kind of surprising.

This is the first time since 4ish that we've had zero active tornado warnings in LA, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, or Florida.

Looks pretty weak. With that said there is still plenty of potential, in the individual cells, to drop a tornado.
