I guarantee you almost every rich trust fund kid is also doing weed. Dems made weed illegal a long time ago to keep people in prison for labor. Trump should legalize it in his second term (after the election so the Karen boomers won't freak out).

You're wrong. But the highest percentage of those incarcerated for said usage do come from the African American community.

Seems like devil lettuce is extremely common in the African American community. White folks smoke too but I think the hardcore Uber Christians and Mormons bring the average down

I don't have a single white friend that doesn't at least occasionally smoke it. shite, even my mom started smoking it in her 50s and my conservative grandma is cool with the shite but doesn't partake.

Please explain how weed is any more of a gateway drug than alcohol? People say “you will never find a hardcore addict that hasn’t smoked weed”, but you will also never find a hardcore addict that hasn’t drank alcohol. If anything alcohol has an increased risk of leading to other drugs because it lowers one’s inhibitions.

Nope....The war on drugs locked up a lot of AA's and that started decades after it was made illegal.
However, making marijuana illegal was a ruse to cover for making hemp illegal.
Like all things in govt it's about the $$$$.
Harry Anslinger's timber property became VERY valuable with one swoop of his pen without input from anyone.
He and his buddy Dupont became rich because of hemp being illegal.
