It's been fully reported it was a woman flying on an evaluation flight. Sure, one of the men could have taken out the other two and done it but it's even less likely either of the men with wife and kids did that. The Germanwings co-pilot was an incel suicidal loser.
The wishcasting by both sides of the political spectrum any time a tragedy happens would put a hurricane thread to shame.

What's the hold up on identifying this pilot. We knew the names of everyone else yesterday, but nothing on this person.

Your post is 24 hours late. Wishcasting occurs before news is released. We know what the flight was for and who was pic under evaluation.

Do military aircraft (fixed wing or rotor wing) have flight data recorders/cockpit voice recorders?

idk man. for every retard like Tdsngumbo you also have actual pilots/former air traffic controllers posting in here.
hurricane threads you have actual meteorologists
"insert random event here" happens and there's a 99% chance some baw on here who knows the ins and outs of it is gonna show up and give us the rundown
TD is a pretty cool place. You just have to weed through the Tdsngumbo/sirwinstons of the world

Unfortunately, it's a shite load of weeding at times.

Not that I deny being a retard, but what's wrong with what I've posted in this thread?

quote:Yeah. I was just referring to the scenario that it was intentional based on a female pilot disabling the other two crew members. Technically any of the 3 could pilot the Blackhawk.

The only one I would safely rule out is the female pilot in such a scenario as we hear a male voice only 20 seconds before impact and the helicopter was already too high and on a collision course.

Perhaps you might be confusing news and facts? The facts are that the pilot was female. Not all female pilots are the product of DEI. Hope this helps.

Yeah that's what I said, thanks.

I haven't said anything about DEI.
A woman was PIC of a blackhawk that hit a CRJ.

SIAP but more angles of the crash from DCA security where you can see each aircraft hitting the water.
NBC Washington

As long as they all **aren't**, then they all are fair game to be suspected of DEI hiring/retention/promotion. Period. It may not be fair, but thems the breaks when DEI enters the chat.

Nah, that's what makes it fun. It's the file in the gumbo that is The OT.

This would be a better video. Also, most night vision today is autogated.

Auto Gating is a crucial technology in modern-day NVDs. It makes the device capable of giving clear visuals infrequent and sudden changes in light conditions. Placed within the image intensifier tube, it enables the amount of light reaching the intensifier to be automatically gated.

WTH does this mean?
You expect the pilot to ride it in?
This is one reason most of your posts are considered $hit-posts even before being read....

Possibility exists that the training flight was remedial to over come a performance deficiency. Not a good look for the army
yesterday there was a photo of a house that was to be the origination of the helo flight. Could be a story about whose house

That was just from people who don't know how to look at ADS-B data. There's poor data at low levels and the track will drop out. Over that house was where the blackhawk was picked back up while flying.

That’s a valid question. As to why this pilot’s identity has been released, I can only guess it’s due to family notification. Though, it’s been an unusually long time for that to be the issue.

Fox News just a bit ago said it was family choosing to withhold name. Can't blame them for wanting some privacy as they cope w the initial shock and mourning.

I didn’t know the family had that option. But it’s understandable in these circumstances. I say that because it’s apparent the perception of the public is the responsibility for this accident lays with some sort of combination of the helicopter pilot(s) and ATC to some degree or another.
The family is probably trying to not add the inevitable media circus that would befall them after they were identified as the family of the pilot right as they’re trying to come to terms with the loss of their loved one.
