Yesterday there were two people shot and killed at the Walgreens at Elysian Fields and Gentilly. My grandparents lived in Gentilly back in the day and my Grandma shopped at the grocery store that is where the Walgreens is now. Brother Martin HS is just a couple blocks away. The decline of the Gentilly area is really sad.
