It will be phenomenal in the the short term.

The real test is what it looks like in 3-5 yrs.

This. For those who remember Planet Hollywood and their proliferated expansion early on only to get too big for their britches. It’s a phenom nationwide at this moment, but you’re spot on, 3-5 years is the ultimate test.

I've been following these places from this board, and the one here in the Suburbs of St.Louis, is getting closer to being done.

All the poles and nets are up, building is done and being roughed in(elec, plumbing, etc).

Are these places cool? And since it will be popular, how will you get a game? I know Hipsters will try to sit and rink for hours, any time limits on play?

Where exactly near the corner of I-10 and seigen is it going?

One one side on interstation you have the church and across the street lowes, walmart, sams, etc... Then on other waffle house, hotels, etc. then the other an old strip mall and mcdonalds.

There will be enough college kids to keep it afloat. The only concern is there seems to be no 24-33 year olds in Baton Rouge.

They need to make it easier to get to. That's the main reason the movie theater didn't make it in that location.

I hope they hurry up with the Pecue Ln interstate exit construction, and give the Siegen Mall a frontage road that connects.

You buy a membership and book a bay by the hour. Can have maybe 8 or so playing.

You’ll have a hostess take care of your cocktails and food.

Prices fluctuate based on popular times costing more.

Plus their scoring system for each ball a player hits makes it fun competition.

Tend to have good music and parties.

Sounds like your buddy violated a confidentiality agreement.

TG screwed the pooch missing out on that location.

This will be the first Louisiana Top Golf location. I thought they were looking at New Orleans but I guess that fell through.

Seems like it would also do well in Metarie or Kenner even.

Baton Rouge is stuck in 2005. Still catching up with most modern cities.

Well, to be fair, there was an event that happened in 2005 that set SELA back a few days.

I thought it was because Cinemark owned/bought out Tinseltown theaters. With Perkins Rowe being built they closed Tinseltown to do the new Cinemark. I remember something in the news about the projectors being relocated there.

I've never found that to be the case at all.

For a city the size of Baton Rouge the 24-33 professional that companies market to (aka spends a lot of money of stuff like Top golf) is small. There's obviously people of that age there, but they don't fit into the downtown young professional demographic.

Won't last in BR. You'll have a bunch of thugs walking there with no money and just walking around the place trying to slip into the bays without paying and harassing people.

I wish we were stuck in 2005 before everyone went completely batshit crazy.
