bastrop’s population is 9691 in 2020
quote:

1. Bastrop
Percentage of the Population Over 65: 12.9% Median Home Value: $72,200
Most Recent Annual Number of Violent Crimes: 102
Most Recent Annual Number of Property Crimes: 827
Number of Hospitals Within 25 Miles of the City: 5

Retirees looking for their next adventure should put Bastrop on the top of their list of places to retire. This bucolic community sits near the Georgia Pacific Wildlife Management Center and the Upper Ouachita National Wildlife Refuge, perfect for active adults that want to connect with Mother Nature.

Bogalusa’s population in 2020 is 10,659

quote:

Percentage of the Population Over 65: 16.7%
Median Home Value: $87,800
Most Recent Annual Number of Violent Crimes: 147
Most Recent Annual Number of Property Crimes: 539
Number of Hospitals Within 25 Miles of the City: 2

If you’re looking to kick back and relax during your retirement, then Bogalusa is the perfect town for you. You can spend your retirement enjoying a peaceful and private community in a serene natural setting when you invest in your new home and new life in Bogalusa.

that is a lot of crime in such small towns

Not a single Northshore town? Mandeville, Covington and Folsom are among the best areas to live in the state.

I live close to coushatta. was raised in Shreveport. I never thought I would like living in the country not being close to major stores. But the hell with that. In Shreveport you can feel racial tension. Here, all the the kids around here went to school and know each other. With the haynesville shall, the sheriff and police are very well funded. There all driving new high dollar SUVs. We have small crime like drugs but you don't here anyone getting shot and if you do, they went looking for it in Shreveport or nact. I've been here for over 12 years and never had anybody even try to steal anything on my property. Neighbors are spread out and are always ready to help

One year we had a bad storm that knocked down some trees. Next day without being called, my neighbor brought his big arse tractor with a tree grabber and just moved it for us. And I can get my license and car renewal in five minutes.

Freaking Bastrop? The only worse choice would have been Mansfield.

Give me Pineville. I can be anywhere in the state in less than 2 hours sans NO and Lake Chuck.

I hate these lists that are created strictly in data.

Anyone who knows Louisiana knows this is nonsense. Some AI bot generated this crap
