Very underrated day IMO. It’s the point in the year where days start getting longer in the northern hemisphere.
Maybe not worthy of celebrating, but worth acknowledging.

Thank God. I'm sick of the holidays by now

January 6 marks the end of the Christmas season, you heathen. Then, festival season begins!

Thank God. Not going to lie, need a break. Last couple months have been exhausting.

Just not true. LSU vs Miami is 9/02/18. Labor Day is 9/03/18. If I remember right, the first week of NFL season has been starting around Labor Day weekend since the 80's.

It also marks the point at which every child born in the 90s has to be older than 18 years of age!

My gorgeous tree is staying up. Cut that beautiful bastard with my own hands from a farm deep in the Ozarks.

Somewhere, a sapling grows up without a father all because you wanted to display his rotting corpse in your living room.

No Mardi Gras in Cali, but that’s true. Still Mardi Gras can’t touch Halloween and the fun after.
