My wife tried to get my son to wear a helmet when he was learning to ride a bike. I threw that fricker in the trash

I thought they wore the helmets b/c their skull was deformed and while they were young you could "mold" it back to normal?
I thought that was bullshite?
Do we see older people before this “mold” diagnosis because common with fricked up heads?

I wonder if she's aware of how long toddler's managed to survive without helmets??

A friend’s nephew has to wear a helmet and knee pads because he has hemophilia, perhaps it is something like that.

Ive seen crash helmets for handicapped kids, but that doesnt sound like what you're describing.

You're an idiot. It's more than likely due to plagiocephaly or another cranial issue and she didn't want to make you look like a moron.

First it was wearing a helmet on a bike with training wheels and now it’s learning to fricking walk? Jeez

Yes, that’s a thing.
But that wasn’t the case here.
You sure?
They may not have wanted to get into a possibly complex medical history with a stranger. Or maybe the kid had one HELL of a fall and spooked the parents?

I don’t think it’s really a thing unless they have a weird shaped head. You probably just encountered an ultra-helicopter mom

There are a variety of cranial issues that would require a child at that age to wear a helmet.
