My wife tried to get my son to wear a helmet when he was learning to ride a bike. I threw that fricker in the trash

A friend’s nephew has to wear a helmet and knee pads because he has hemophilia, perhaps it is something like that.

Ive seen crash helmets for handicapped kids, but that doesnt sound like what you're describing.
