I'm going to say it is worse now. 20 years ago teachers could go out and do stuff. Now you can't go to a bar as a teacher or be holding an obvious alcoholic drink. Someone may take your picture and put it on facebook then a parent will come in and complain that they don't want this person teaching their kid. It's safe to say that a lot of teachers aren't getting hit on as much as they'd like by other adults, since they aren't going to those sorts of places anymore, and are taking what they can get. You want to hit on a teacher you may have to do it as some place like a grocery store, since they probably aren't going to the bars.
