Here is a lesson for anyone condoning this thugs actions don’t try to run from cops that are there to arrest you during a warrant raid. He ran to his car and tried to get away and got shot who cares. Good riddance thug

Taze the car. If the car’s electrical system is overloaded it will blow out the car”s computer brain and it will coast to a stop.

So, it's cool on you if you get shot for speeding or running a stop sign? Because you're saying the cops are judge, jury and executioner and that's OK by you. Thug or not, a person is allowed their day in court. If this thug is trying to kill a cop, that's one thing...he should be dead. But running from them?...Com'on man. That's weak on the cops if true.

But the cops weren’t there for a speeding ticket or running a stop sign they were executing a felony warrant. He should have just been arrested and not try to run. He was a dangerous felon

We haven't seen the video yet. If none of the officers's lives were in danger, you let him go, and you get him another day.

Yeah, not saying it’s a good shoot, but the whole idea of shooting out tires, shooting in the leg, shooting the gun/knife out of their hand, etc is ludicrous.

Shooting through the back window of a car is likely not a good shoot unless the suspect was previously engaged in imminently deadly behavior. It’s the same as shooting someone in the back resisting arrest fleeing from a warrant unarmed vs. someone who was just involved in a shootout with the officers.

Again, running from the cops is not a death sentence. What's wrong with you? If the guy tried to run over the cops, hell yeah he should be dead. If he pulled a gun on them, hell yeah he should be dead. But just running from them? No, you can't shoot him.

That's implicit when they are issued a firearm.

So how were they supposed to stop him he was a felon just let dangerous felons go. When he resisted arrest by not just putting his hands up and following orders it’s on him. I guess just let a felon go he will eventually turn himself in I guess. What’s wrong with you

But if he didn’t run and just put his hands up and was like ok y’all got me ... then they wouldn’t have had a reason to even shoot him or anything...

He took it upon himself to resist arrest, attempt to run, and in the end he got what he asked for...

And let’s be real, if cops wouldn’t have shot him in the car and it turned into a high speed police chase, that end result could kill innocent people from him loosing control and crashing into others

Stop being ignorant and resisting arrest, and trying to run and you will stop getting shot.

Depends on the crime he's wanted for. They can shoot you for fleeing if you have a violent crime that you are wanted for.

What.

That isn't the case .

They can only use lethal force if the officer has probable cause that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious bodily harm to the officer or others. The mere fact that they are wanted for a violent crime isn't sufficient for this.
