Self defense 100%. The skinny guy, who is 5' 10" so not that little is in the door of his car. Colorado has a “Make My Day” Law that would apply. Bluto was the aggressor and attacker.
I had a similar situation where I could have drawn but the guy backed down. I had just opened my door in a parking lot preparing to leave and a large black man ran up on me and began threatening me and pushing me into my car. It turned out that someone in a similar vehicle almost hit his girlfriend. He had pushed me where I was seated and that let kick him in the gut with force to knock him back rather than pull my gun. His girlfriend then came running up saying that was not the car.

Big guy died at the hospital after the shooting, lol dude was never charged and DA ruled it self defense.
Big guys brother showed up with an assault rifle after the cops got there and they had to subdue him.
Sad story all around. Moral of the story, just don’t start shite with anyone for stupid as reasons. Who gives a shite what someone says to you…just walk away from shite talk

The first few shots were justified but dumping the mag in a fat arse dude slowly running off is a weak weak look. Also the woman standing behind the fat dude has the survival instinct of a deer. Or maybe she just knew a bullet wasn’t going through all that fat.

People are for some reason downvoting this but this is 100% correct. Skinny fella was right to pull and shoot to stop the threat, but the video clearly shows he continued to shoot when the big guy had his back turned and was in full retreat. That changes it from defense to homicide.
The big dude had it coming no doubt, but I counted seven shots, four or five of which came when the guy had gotten off him and was running away. The angle of the big guy trying to run and being shot while flailing in midair is pretty damning. Going to be a tough court case.

The guy isn't a trained LEO. All he has to say is he was panicked and in fear and/or stunned from the fight.
Most reasonable people would accept that answer and vote not guilty, if it ever came to trial.
