Hate to hear this. I've had a lot of pain in my life. But, can't even begin to comprehend the pain of losing my child. I sincerely hope you find a way through this.

I will say that I had to go through counseling at one point and it changed my life forever. Please don't feel as if seeking help makes you a lesser person somehow. Talk to someone, anyone if you need to.

Best wishes

I am deeply moved by your words, and it is abundantly clear that Jeff was a special man.

Your love and heart comes through in your writing, and I pray God's grace on you and your wife.

Recent life experiences give me a crystal-clear understanding of what you're feeling and you have my deepest sympathy.

One day at a time. He would want y’all to be okay and move on not live in grief.

Very sorry for your loss.

If you are having a bad day, never forget that people are going through things like this all around you.

Be a positive light to others. It’s just as contagious as being negative.

I’m sorry for your loss, brother.

You can be proud of the sacrifice you made for him and that he is finally fully healed.

I just prayed for you and your family this morning.

Living to 42 with that diagnosis is the ultimate sign of kicking arse. Sounds like a good man.

It's a terrible disease but there have been some amazing medications produced to help those that suffer from it in the last 10 years or so. Hopefully it gets eradicated like polio.
