I never have reproduced so you can just give me the money.

One guy figured out his sister dated the dude. The OT didn't do anything.

The OT put in work on this.
No. The killer was dating the sister of a guy who happened to post on the OT. He and his dad had suspension based on several observations.

Glad this Brandon Lavergne creep is behind bars. He also killed another woman in 1999.
Fathers, make sure you warn your daughters not to walk around town or ride a bike around town in the middle of the night. You never know what danger could be lurking in the dark.
I find this whole thread a bit creepy. Why are you bringing up this girls death seven years later? And what’s with the cryptic warning?
Are you one of these people who are fascinated by violent crimes? Attention whoring? Is this cathartic for you in some level? Are you a family member?
I’m sure most (good) parents warn their daughters of the dangers of the world. Your warning resonates of blame for the victim or her parents and only makes your post more awkward.

There’s only one way to figure this out. Y’all have to meet at sonic, fight, and whoever wins, that story is the truth. Loser gets a cherry limeade and some cheese tots.

FWIW, I didn't interpret this as victim blaming in any way, but rather a reminder to teach your children about situational awareness and self-preservation.

I think the brother started a thread about his sisters boyfriend and how he didn’t trust the boyfriend. A few days later someone may have posted the police request to the public for information on a truck re: the Schunik case. All ready suspicious, the brother saw the picture of the truck, recognized the truck and ended up helping the police tie up some leads they were investigating.

THANK YOU. That’s what it was supposed to be.
Evidently, some snowflakes got triggered though and turned it around into me being the bad guy.
There’s nothing with situational awareness and self preservation. It’s not unreasonable to be concerned about those things and remind ourselves of their importance.

bullshite. Adam thought the dude her sister in law(I think I recall that's the connection) was dating was sketchy BEFORE her murder. After it happened someone here suggested Adam4lsu tell police about the guy. He did. Police were already interested in Lavergne as well as a few others but Adam definitely helped it along by alerting authorities to his gut feelings about the sick frick. Police then focused on Lavergne and rest is history albeit tragic.
How is this different from what I said? Adam did it. A few people telling him to go to the police isn't the OT solving the case.
I followed that thread from the start. It was all random bullshite until Adam came in. He put it all together himself.

Damn, it’s already been 7 years? Seems like this occurred a few years ago. However, glad that this psychopath is locked up and will die in prison.

The OT didn't do much of anything except follow along, but it was pretty cool to follow the threads in real time as info was leaked by reporters, some LEOs and Adam.
IIRC the threads went cold for a week or so and then dude got popped.

You got victim blaming out of a man telling other men to warn their daughters to be vigilant? With a leap like that you should be in the Olympics.
If as a parent you don't prepare your child to be aware of the dangers of the world and to safeguard themselves against them to the best of their ability, then quite frankly you're just as much of a danger to them as any stranger with bad intentions.
