Glad this Brandon Lavergne creep is behind bars. He also killed another woman in 1999.
Fathers, make sure you warn your daughters not to walk around town or ride a bike around town in the middle of the night. You never know what danger could be lurking in the dark.

Poor soul, she thought nothing bad of the world. It let her venture into areas/situations she should have avoided, just didn't think predators were out there. He was only convicted of 2 murders but was suspected of others that evidence couldn't pin him to.

She was riding her bike home from Festival. If we’re going to admonish parents then let’s remind parents to do their best to make sure their kids are not violent rapists and murderers. Then chicks can ride their bikes home at night.

The most proactive thing that we can do is the take precautions and avoid putting ourselves into high risk situations. I was not talking down to parents. I was just giving a reminder

bullshite. Adam thought the dude her sister in law(I think I recall that's the connection) was dating was sketchy BEFORE her murder. After it happened someone here suggested Adam4lsu tell police about the guy. He did. Police were already interested in Lavergne as well as a few others but Adam definitely helped it along by alerting authorities to his gut feelings about the sick frick. Police then focused on Lavergne and rest is history albeit tragic.
