re: To over 45 years old, crime & murder rate is 1/3 compared 70s-90s. It's not worse, better.

Are you basing off the charts in the op that dont go to 2022 or 2023?

This isn on his chart...

BATON ROUGE —- A portion of South River Rd. is closed at this time as officials respond to a double shooting.

It happened before 10:30pm on Sunday, May 7 between the U.S.S. Kidd and the River Center on River Rd. in Baton Rouge.

Early reports indicate a possible drive-by shooting with dozens of rounds fired. Shell casings are reported to be all over the roadway.

I've said this on the board many times. And when you look at it per capita was even higher. The population continues to grow so 45 years ago there was obviously less people in the country.

Social media has everyone convinced the world is going to end soon.

And check out crime and murder 20 year and beyond after abortion became legal. Im not sure if there is anything concrete on it, but 20 years after abortion became legal, those unwanted kids would have obviously been 20 years old and younger, ages when people are more likely to commit crimes and the crime and murder rate gradually got better year after year.

People are going to believe what they want so its not like this info will do anything.

There is no great mystery here. Under its ultra-woke Mayor, London Breed, San Francisco has been testing out a wide array of faddish, progressive policies. In the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, Breed was one of the first to jump on the “defund the police” bandwagon, cutting $120 million from the law and order budget.

Sales and corporate taxes have been pushed up. Homelessness has been tolerated right across the city centre. Motorists reportedly leave car windows and doors unlocked to deter overnight break-ins.

Nothing wrong here, people are overreacting...

My mom was adopted, got a college degree, birthed 3 sons.

She was born before roe v wade.

You also forget the fact we have imported one for every abortion. So yeah, we let 2 million jobless homeless people in since covid.

I grew up in North Louisiana and we didn't lock our house for 14 years, even at night.

There was no crime

Small towns were safe, cities still had areas of sanity.

This is no longer the case.

Now do city by city, which the proper metric. Crime may be down in Ville Platte, but what is the story in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, especially post-COVID. Those stats, esp on murder, are easy to find if you were inclined to look. You can find them on this site.

However I am offended by your ignorant use of grammar and poor display and presentation of the data.

Yeah, for a data heavy "I'm smart" post the grammar was clunky.
