Not watching it but I'm sure our national media will try and cram it down our throats.

Subtle way to tell us you’re too old to know how to operate your remote or computer.

Yeah, the Land of The Free and The Home of The Brave apparently didn't give a shite about freedom between September 1939 and December 1941.

Does he even realize how time differences work? You have to get up pretty early to watch this Monday in the US.

You mean to tell us you claim and are proud of this cuck-fest of a country, these days?

Not happening. Even protesting Potato's order to fly my flags at half mast.

First time in over 25 years to not follow half mast proclamation.

Just a little bit of information to bring you up to date from 1776 since you are apparently unaware of some things. There is more information in the link if you care to enlighten yourself.

I'm not convinced you will understand it all, though.

quote:

U.S.-UNITED KINGDOM RELATIONS The United States has no closer Ally than the United Kingdom. Following the end of the American Revolution in 1783, the United Kingdom officially recognized American independence, and in 1785 our two countries established diplomatic relations. Other than a brief break in relations during the War of 1812, the United States and the United Kingdom have remained durable partners and Allies. Our partnership is a foundation of our mutual prosperity and security.

The strong relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom reflects our common democratic ideals and values, which are reinforced through cooperation on political, security, and economic issues. Along with other European allies, the United States and the United Kingdom work closely together to combat terrorism, stop the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and ensure regional security.

The United States and the United Kingdom coordinate closely to respond to dangerous and destabilizing actions by Moscow that threaten our security and erode democratic freedoms and institutions including the Kremlin’s war against Ukraine, election interference, cyberattacks, use of chemical weapons, the use of corrupt proxies, and human rights violations. In September 2021 the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom signed the Australia, United Kingdom, and United States (AUKUS) security partnership agreement, further solidifying security cooperation between allies.

Ah, rewriting history I see. The U.S., starting in March of 41 were sending munitions, food, arms, heavy equipment, oil, etc. to Great Britain, the Soviet Union, France, China and other ally countries. Thousands of Merchant Marines and U.S. freighters were lost in the Atlantic doing so.

The U.S was trying to deal with the Great Depression and many politicians, and citizens were not keen of getting back into a global conflict after WWI.

Yeah, it wasn't until the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor that brought us into the war on December 7th 1941, but once that took place, we were all in until the end.
