bitching about how screwed up it is to have live for months in early darkness by switching back to standard time.

You do know we're gonna get many hours less daylight this time of year no matter what we do with the clocks don't you?

The clock switch back just brings it to light...

Yes, we’re fully aware. Our point is why make it even worse by moving the clock back an hour so that it gets dark at 4:45 PM instead of 5:45 PM?

yes, but i would rather it still be light outside when i leave the office so i can play with my kids outside. I understand we get less hours of light, we just want the light in the evening, not the morning.

I’m pretty sure that the daylight/nighttime cycles on Earth predates the invention of clocks.

I could be wrong though, the invention of watches recently has been drastically pushed back due to some new photographic evidence.
