The South of the border celebrations started about 20m ago around here. Y'all whiteys forget that latinos (at least Hondurans and Venezuelans) like to go to parties until 3-4AM, and bring their kids to pass out in stranger's houses until they're ready to go home. Well trained kids. I'm sure no uncles abused anyone during that time.

Xmas Eve is like a poor man's NYE in latin culture. It's about house parties, latin dancing, then fireworks at midnight, then more latin dancing. I should know. I just left a Kenner Xmas Eve house party about an hour ago. I've done this for about 15 Xmas Eve's in a row.

Yeah the kids need to have their 10 hours of sleep tonight and not when they have a big test or exam the next morning. No wonder why Louisiana has the worst education in the country.

It ramped up here at midnight. Woke my son (5) up for a while. Thankfully it died down around 12:25 or so and he went back to sleep.
