I saw where the Rush guy that owned the company and invented the sub said he didn’t hire former Military guys like other sub tour companies. He said they were all “old White guys”, and diversity was important and inspiring. Can’t wait for commercial airlines to adopt this policy.

How do you know that the sub's material condition wasn't monitored?

Because it is currently in a bunch of pieces on the floor of the ocean. With the limited investigation already done, it has been proven that company cut corners. Had this trip gone well they already had another scheduled to go down within a short time (on the same expedition). They weren't inspecting that vessel properly on the ocean whilst running that schedule.

Did the stepson of the billionaire really immediately start Tweeting about picking up instasluts or OF chicks?

Is a sub that size able to breach line Red October without killing everyone on board?

What would be involved? Interior is maintained at 1 atm. The exterior pressure is whatever it was at 12500 feet but lowers rapidly. Or would opening the valves to release air fail?

My meager mind is cramping trying to think how it would work or fail. Line thinking about time travel too hard. Lol

Could you imagine if you were next up? Hopefully we get some stories at some point.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the U.S. Navy detected the Titan's implosion on Sunday. The White House, however, waited until today to make the news public for reasons of a political nature that I will not get into here.

James Cameron made a good point too about their "Safety" system. They had a system that was supposed to detect when the hull was starting to get cracks. So in other words, they planned to enact security measures AFTER the hull was already compromised, thousands of feet deep. They probably got the warning the hull was starting to delaminate and crack, dropped their emergency assent weights, but again, by then, it's far too late. It takes time to go all the way back up and your hull is fricked and slowly tearing itself apart.

Do you think that aircraft that are turned in just over an hour are inspected correctly?
