People pay 250K for that shite. Probably safer to have a weekend coke and hooker binge.
The problem with the $250k price tag is that it actually isn’t nearly enough for this type of expedition. Probably need to multiply that by 2 or 3 in order to have the proper support vessel that’s fully crewed and mobilized in case some shite like this happens

Liberia welcomes you to our trusted judicial system. Please excuse the heat as our AC system is down for a few weeks.

How do these things hold oxygen? I’m assuming compressed air lkke a large scuba tank? 96 hours for 5 people seems like it would be a huge air tank? Or do they have a method of producing oxygen?

Yes. It's my understanding they have a mini-rain forest inside the vessel that can only live for 96 hours.

JP Morgan claims another one!

They have CO2 scrubbers
So the 96 hours would be based on battery life of the entire vessel then? That’s where I was getting at?

Maybe those went down.

I can't believe anyone would get in one of those spam cans.

Think they last a couple days before having to replace them

From Dan Abraham’s show on NN last night SIAP
5 min listen
It’s amazing you have lives hanging by a thread and govt paperwork is the issue. How does the US have any authority in international waters anyway?

Is it really paperwork or does the company want to make sure somebody pays them?

Sorry if already discussed, but if they locate the sub intact, do they have a way to bring it up or rescue the crew?

Float around and find out

And filthy rich doofus passenger is heard to ask the sub pilot ”hey man, what does this button do”? Darwin says “frick around and find out”.
