Tanesha Wocktaint is a 22-year-old woman from Flint, Michigan, who became known for participating in the "chlorine bomb" social media challenge.
What happened:
Wocktaint attempted to film herself creating a "chlorine bottle" for social media.
She added a large amount of pool chlorine to a bottle, causing a violent, explosive reaction.
The resulting blast sent chemical-laced shrapnel into her face.
Consequences:
Reports indicate she suffered extensive chemical burns and permanent damage to her eyes.
She was hospitalized due to the severe injuries.
Some sources suggest she might have permanent facial damage and potential vision impairment.
