I figured out who a poster was by a pic of their dog in a dog thread that was same pic as their FB profile pic
He commented in a news post on FB & I happened to notice it
I also figured out another poster by Twitter the same way

I agree there have been more than a few posts that are much worse than his and were allowed to stay up. The problem here is that Pesticide openly admitted to being a BR cop. That doesn't fly when you're a public official who is supposed to be fair and impartial.

He would've gotten away with it had he not posted his phone number like a dumbass. To my knowledge, Chicken never got served with a warrant to turn over his IP address. Pesticide was caught because of his own stupidity.

I mean.. it is. He got busted because he posted his phone number on the ticket exchange (if I saw that correctly). Depending on what you post, someone may be able to figure out who you are. There are a few people who texted me and asked me if I was sweetwaterbilly but that was only because of things I posted.
Unless you're posting blatantly racist or threatening stuff or you're dumb enough to provide enough information for someone to figure out who you are, nobody is going to take the time to try and track you down.
