There are stories of clubhouse guys in this era creating team signed balls. I don't know enough about the autographs to provide any insight on this aspect. If you plan to part with it, you would get more for it if it authenticated by a company like PSA/DNA. Also, make sure your case has UV protection if you're displaying it out in the open.

Mickey Mantle changed his signature several times. The one on your ball looks like one from the late 50s, like 57 to 58. Dont know how that lines up with the other signatures on the ball.

I used to have one similar to that with the full stand-up cabinet. I sold it to a buddy of mine who still has it in his garage bar.

I have a 1971 Christmas plate. It has the little girl with the candle I think.. My mom got it in 71 or 72 and I somehow have it, but it's packed in a box and I can't provide a picture

1964 Frigidaire Custom Imperial cook top, oven, and vent hood. Just removed from a kitchen renovation. Works perfect.

I've posted this one here before. It is a Plumb Model 1918 Bolo Knife carried by my great uncle in WW1. Canvas/leather outer sheath and a rawhide inner sheath. On the leather tip you can see the his and his wife's, whom he married right before leaving, initials scratched into it.

These glasses use to bring $100 each, but I think most collectors that wanted one, got one, so the value has fallen.

I would say about $40 a glass or $200 per 4 glass set.

Dude, that baby blue is awesome and is in high demand right now. You need to put that on eBay/FB marketplace right now.

The cooktop just sold on eBay, not sure of the price, he was asking $500, took an offer. There are a couple on eBay where they are asking $1000+.

You could be looking at $2500+ for all that

I’ll take it off you hands!!!

No, I messaged the buyer, he didn’t reply.

Somewhere in the attic is an Andy Warhol book, autographed, with a message to the book owner. I bought it at a garage sale more than 25 years ago. My husband was unwilling to go into the attic to look for it, though.

Does the condition of the book matter as much as the autograph?

When I renovated the kitchen I did some of the cabinets in that birds eye blue as an homage to my grandmother. So the color lives on for another generation!

The set is at my sawmill in Liberty, MS. You can come up here and get it for $1000. Hope you double your money!

Unless it’s some rare first edition, the condition doesn’t matter too much. His autograph brings about $300, if not more since it’s inscribed.

I’m good, I’ll take it for free.

But seriously, you need to put that on FB marketplace. Mid Century Modern is the hottest thing going right now.

I remember your posts about the renovation on the Home and Garden Board. Cool touch to use the 50s blue for the cabinets.

AntiqueTiger is right about people looking for clean mid-century appliances --especially that blue.

I replaced a 36" stove in my mom's kitchen (1959 ranch style house) with that same original color and had a very hard time finding it.

Ended up finding a pretty good deal for one --around $500 at a Habitat for Humanity Restore of all places -- but I looked for a couple of years to find one. Would have paid more if I had found one sooner.

Those old appliances are non vintage junk. Try and find a local appliance company that tears down and rebuilds old units.
