Not posting a picture.
But was a contractor on a recent theme park ride project. We had two metal sigs going in the line with custom paint job to replicate gold but are textured. They are dragons that are also in the shape of a hidden mouse. About 4’ x 2.5’. The client rejected one because my dumb arse installer nicked it a bit, so we gave them a new and I took the rejected one. Am I a millionaire now?

I cannot value it by your description, but I can value your education.
You over paid!!!
That paragraph makes no sense.

I didn’t pay a dime. My installer fricked it up when attaching to the wall, Disney rejected so my company had to give them a new one and I took the rejected one.

Ok, I think I figured it out. You were doing work on a ride at WDW or Disneyland. You were refurbishing a ride. You had two gold dragon signs, that also had a hidden Mickey in it.
You kept the messed up sign.
If that’s it, it’s pretty cool, value, I’m not sure. It’s something brand new that you created.

Side note, not a refurnished ride as that indicates in the industry you are freshening it up. It’s a brand new ride in an existing building where the interior was gutted out. First ever Mickey ride. The sign is made out of 1/4” aluminum, water jetted and themed to match a specific chemetal callout, but also given a special texture. The design alone with the amount of revisions and meetings probably was the cost of a new sedan.

So you own a messed version of this? It’s nothing much, pretty cool, but value wise, not too valuable because it never hung at WDW. It’s the one that got messed up, so y’all made another one and you kept the bad one.

Was originally hung. Was up for previews.
ETA: And by messed up, three of the interior “scales” were grinder off to make the piece fit.

Hung for the preview, but never really part of the attraction, once the attraction opened.

Sure. If that’s how you want to look at it.

These are two paintings by Walter Simmons Hunt (1843 - 1901) given to my grandparents as a wedding gift.
There isn’t much info online about WS Hunt. He wasn’t famous. The last time I looked, his pastels sell in the low hundreds range. They are among my most treasured possessions.
Other artwork

Wonder your installer's opinion of you?
I bet I can tell you.

It’s fun to know how much people think your items are worth, but sometimes you just have those items no matter the value it’d be hard to part with.

Well, I literally put the pieces on the ground, took a picture of how they should be installed after hitting a 24 hr shift, and he still managed to install the center piece wrong which led him to believe to cut into a feature piece instead of just giving me a call?
he can hate me all he wants, but some people aren’t cut out for work that takes detail. Or maybe just more theming. Our thermoforming job that came next was way over his skill set.

How about a replica 1958 helmet signed by Billy Cannon, Paul Dietzel, Gus Kinchen, Johnny Robinson, Scooter Purvis, Al Ott, and Max Schexnaildre?

Sculpture of Veiled Madonna or Veiled Lady. Marble base, think sculpture is Alabaster instead of Carrera marble. 14.5" high, weighs approx 17lb.
Signed A. Filli Firenza Italy.

They are gaining in value since a few have passed, but ten years ago, they were all doing signings, and they did a ton.
I would say $100-$200 range. There’s a lot out there.

That’s super nice. I get no hits on Google with those markings, but from just the detail of the work, I would say $500-$1000. (Just a guess).
I do know Firenze mean Florence. I did get a hit on an artist named Anthony Frilli, but not Filli. Frilli has similar work. I don’t have Worthpoint, so I cannot look up his work
