Does anyone recognize the logo and name on the front door of the car?

Lack of familiarity with the car could have contributed to the rollover.

It's the Genesis Invitational, which just happened in LA last weekend at Riviera. Tiger was the host for the event and that's a club car.

It’s a Genesis SUV. The tournament he hosted last week was sponsored by them

I mean, Ben Hogan was in a head on collision with a bus and broke his entire body. Doctors didn't think he'd ever walk again, let alone play golf. He went on to have one of the most prolific careers in professional golf.

Yep, unless Tiger loses a leg, two broken legs aren't going to hurt his career long term.

Anyone in halfway decent shape in their mid 40's can recover from shite pretty easily.

It wasn't until my early 50's that I noticed a slight change, and that's probably due to the CLL rather than age.

Tiger has had four serious spinal surgeries already and is still recovering from one a month ago.

yeah when i first read the title and saw the first couple posts i was wondering how fricked up he was going to be

having a major wreck after a major back surgery alone is terrible. but after FOUR with the latest a month ago? i was worried if he'd have walking issues

Two broken legs.... he’s done sadly

Eh, it's not his legs to worry about. They will heal just fine if just normal fractures, even though he is in his 40s. It's the fragility of his back that is more worrisome. Hell he just recently had a procedure on his back. In my opinion, if he never plays again, it will be because of his back, not his fractured legs.

They’ll get a lot of publicity from this. I didn’t even know they made cars.

Losing 2 years when you are already mid 40s absolutely hurts your career long term. That's if he can even try to play again

Hes had several spine and leg surgery already. Dude couldn't walk for months from prior injuries.

They don't suspect alcohol but haven't commented on anything else.

It was 730 in the morning and near a private airport and he had his luggage. Assuming he was going to catch a flight.

He looked super high at the tournament this weekend, but looked fine playing with Dwayne Wade yesterday. If he was on pills, they were legally prescribed for his back and I'm not sure the rule on that.

I just hope this didn't destroy his back for good. I wanted him to have one last run at another Masters eventually.

He's not in half-decent shape because of his back though. And he's fresh off his 4th or 5th back surgery.

If I had his kind of money, and history, I would have quit driving myself decades ago. It would be a flyspeck on his budget to have a teetotaler driver on standby 24/7.

The rule is, you are not supposed to operate a vehicle if under the influence of said legally prescribed pills.

Alcohol is legal, but you still can't drink too much of it and drive.

Apparently he’s in surgery right now. That’s not good. Hopefully no amputation

He notoriously doesn't trust anyone and permanent driver would presumably know all your dirty laundry, but I agree.

Well you will still have it "in your system" from the night before. Assuming that is a loophole? The testing isn't like alcohol - it's a drug test. No way to tell if he was under the influence at the time.

Que? Genesis is the luxury line for Hyundai. Their commercials are all over sporting events.

Though I did not know they made SUVs.

A prescription doesn’t insulate you from a DWI.
