He cites South Korea but doesn’t seem to point out that only 93 cases are critical out of 8,000. He needs to give a balanced view of the Coronavirus data and not pick only the worst case scenarios in the world.

Too late for that since several measures have already been taken.

Is the number of new cases in Italy going up or down?

Do you think it might be connectrd to tens of thousands of Chinese workers returning to Italy after February 8th when the 15 day celebration of the Chinese New Year ended?

Italy is the hardest hit in Europe, which has now been classified by the WHO as the current epicenter of infection.

I don't think I've seen anything about their cases going down as of yet.

It is. I'm pretty sure Italy had its first cases in late January. Chinese tourists I believe. And I'm sure it was there long before that. My understanding is that there is a ton of travel betweeen Italy and China. The Chinese fricked Italy up big time.

Over a hundred thousand Chinese sewing Made in Italy tags. No coincidence that Iran got hit. Large contracts for Chinese workers there as in Italy. Often these provide for time and travel to go home which they prefer during the New Year.
