asking a federal court to force fraternities to accept women as members.

They said fraternity houses dominate a limited social scene around campus, one that needs to be wiped clean of sexual harassment and gender discrimination, reports CBS News' Meg Oliver.
quote:
"Why do you want to be part of a culture that you're alleging promotes sexual misconduct?" Oliver asked.
"A fraternity party wasn't any of our first choice, but it was kind of the only choice for the first couple of months at school," McNeil said.
"It speaks to the way that fraternities dominate the social culture at Yale," Walker said, adding, "Those are the places that are open late at night. And those are the spaces that some of our friends are hosting parties in."

"Fraternities offer a vast network of privileges to their members. They offer connections, they offer help networking," Singer said.
"Some people might argue sororities do the same thing," Oliver pointed out.
"Sororities don't tend to have nearly the same connections as fraternities. Fraternities often have people, I think, in higher positions of power. And certainly on campus, they occupy a much higher social space," Singer said.

Well yeah. Frats are men. Men are typically in higher positions of power.

This screams of the “If I cant have him, nobody will” type female murder-suicide plots.

Why don't they just say they feel like a guy

Pledges of one fraternity allegedly posed for a photo outside the Yale women's center with a sign reading: "We love Yale sluts." Another fraternity was banned after pledges reportedly paraded around chanting "no means yes." A third fraternity faced allegations of turning away women of color because they wanted "white girls only.
I miss college

Private associations. Can’t force them to do anything

Well, they are already in the Boy Scouts. This was the next step.

I would comment here, but they may be watching this board and sue based on discrimination for not wanting to hit it.

They’ll force them off campus for not complying.
Some schools have banned all single sex organizations and any fraternity which didn’t want to comply pretty much surrendered its charter at that school.
Last I heard there was a federal lawsuit over it.

Love it when leftism eats itself.

No such skullduggery nor tomfoolery would occur at a tried and true institution like Cornell.

Yale has Skull and Bones - the most exclusive fraternity in the USA
Skull and Bones is coed and has the most exclusive social network on campus
Did not see in the article where these 3 were allowed to attend a Skull and Bones party yet they are not suing Skull and Bones.

Geez. Women like these need to look into the mirror to see why men have clubs that keep them out.
Just cant have anything nice...
4th/5th wave feminism is black sjw levels, that is doing more harm then good. Push men to keep women at even more arms length like the #metoo movement showed. #pencehaditright I seriously heard an interview with a "womens work right" feminist say that it was "unfortunate that this country was founded by white men". The female host didnt blink...

They're most likely on campus, leasing the land if not the house as well, and have agreements in place with the University, so... there is probably plenty that Yale can force them to do.
