I'm more interested in the thoughts you clearly have about it since you started this weird thread.

Better than reaching around to communicate with them.

I hate myself for using it a lot.

Every time I say it on a conference call, I die a little inside.

I don't use "synergies" and "link up," so I have some redeeming qualities.

It’s been in generic corporate-speak for a while now.

I only use it to mock that type, “I’ll reach out to them to structure a call...”

Never thought about that. I’m absolutely certain I never will think about it again. Thanks for posting.

Another douchey overused corporate robo term that at the end of the day (or preferably the beginning) should just go away.

I have no thoughts about it. How can it be analyzed or interpreted any other way?

I fricking hate corporate speak, and I lose respect for anyone who uses it.

I avoid any and all buzzwords/phrases. But sometimes, a particular meme gains such strength that it latches on to you like a fricking disease and you find yourself ensnared in the cliched utterances.

Good album. Burt even sings on it.

When it’s used verbally I don’t mind but if I read the phrase “thanks for reaching” out in an email I usually stop there.

My favorite phrase that most people hate is “I’ll hang up and listen” after asking a question. It’s hilarious.

Also “touch base” is a sports term and therefore discriminatory against women.

You people who always complain about these phrases must not send a lot of emails. You have to mix things up occasionally
