Or more farmland.
It might destroy more than it creates. We have another year or two like the last and we won’t be able to run cattle anymore. That would be the end of over 100 years of ranching on our place.

When we figure out how to count ballots in less than a month, I’ll consider whether or not we can control the earth’s climate.

stupid Liberals made the shite up to push their agenda, climate is always changing but man cannot do anything to stop or change it.
Your use of thought and logic are very convincing, I think you've won me over to your side.

It might it might not. Generally it doesn't. The dates always get pushed back.

Maybe it exists. Maybe it doesn’t. Maybe we can reverse it. Maybe we can’t. Maybe we can stop it. Maybe you should give me a bunch of money to find out.

More regs=more control. We can’t buy a normal V8 engine because of this shite.

I absolutely believe in climate change. Back in January, it was really cold when I was playing golf.
Yesterday, it was really hot when I was playing golf.

No one knows. Worse case I’ll turn this into a huge solar farm to power everyone’s monster AC units. We just ranch to keep the family legacy going. I only have so much patience for losing money because the tanks are down 16’ year after year and the herd keeps getting smaller because of low birth rates from stress.

Correct, but it’s not just to scare people, it’s to grow government and CONTROL people

Climate change is real but we are not the cause. We are just along for the ride on this spinning rock rotating a massive nuclear reactor. Sea levels were hundreds of feet lower during the ice age than they are now and who is to say we still aren’t warming up from the last one.

The earths climate is always changing - it either warms or cools. Man probably is helping it warm, but the effect of the sun is greater and I don’t think the scientists are properly accounting for this. Also, the effect of CO2 on warming diminishes as the CO2 concentration increases. The worst is probably behind us.
The way I see it, I would rather warm the earth a bit than fall into an ice age. The earth is habitable 1.5 C warmer. An ice age would be much more devastating.

This thread is a perfect illustration on why Louisiana comes in last on every list

Ask China and India, simple as that. Why should American citizens be bent over and told to squeal like a pig when those billions of people don’t give two shits? I’m OT Poor, cheap and have never been on a airplane, helicopters yeah, but zero jet setting around the country or globe. If it’s not a problem for them, why should it be my problem?

Elon Musk thinks it’s one of the biggest existential threats we face. That’s good enough for me.
