Before COVID, I was pretty apathetic about this issue. But after listening to COVID pseudoscience, I now think that manmade climate change is a bunch of BS to scare people.

If it exists, it’s not possible to stop or reverse, so why worry or act?

It's very very real. Do you happen own any ocean front property? Sell it to me really fast before the value drops even lower.

Al Gore showed up to my school to give a talk on global warming (before they strategically moved the goalposts and called it “climate change”). He and his goons arrived in a caravan of 4 black Suburbans.

I knew it was all bullshite at that moment.

The increase in CO2 concentration in our atmosphere from man burning fossil fuels correlates with a higher and safer standard of living than previous generations than it correlates with temperature change.

It's horsehit.

1) none of the dire predictions have come true,

2) computer models have never been correct,

3) none of the proponents can tell you what the "global" temperate is supposed to be,

4) it is based upon roughly 150 years of recorded weather data (out of 6 billion+ years),

5) there are huge swaths of Africa and Asia (Russia and China) from which there is no data, requiring "interpolation" (i.e., "guessing"),

6) some reporting stations have become surrounded by urban heat islands, corrupting their results (one was located by an HVAC exhaust),

7) there has been proven data manipulation by NOAA,

8) CO2 is a trace gas,

9) CO2 is necessary for organic life on Earth.

And that's just the start.

What we do to the climate is negligible and nothing will change as long as China and India continue what they do. But there are people in the West that will use it as a tool to gain even more power. Also in doing so, their policies will hurt the poor and tax us to death.

Changing climate around the world has and always will exist.

Does mankind have an effect on it? Maybe, maybe not

Will the excessive tax dollars the government tries to collect to fix climate change actually fix climate change? Absolutely fricking not

And the data has been adjusted by cooling past temperature data to make current temperature data appear like we are burning up.

Any time a politician displays an "issue" and also has an immediate "solution" it usually is a scam.

How much has the net worth increased for Al Gore since he started running with this hoax?

Are humans having an effect on the climate - Yes

Are there about 1000+ other natural factors that cause climate change that no one talks about - Yes

They love to tweak and alter data to make it fit whatever narrative they want all while going to global warming conferences in private jets and limos in exotic locations to vote and decree what the normal public needs to do to fix it

It’s a bunch of shite

Maybe, maybe not. Either way I don't want to pay to fix it.

If emissions were so bad for the environment we should've switched to 100% nuclear.

If were gonna do something about the environment. We should tackle single use plastics first.

It's a lie that was created to scam more money out of everyone and to control the population.

I think anyone saying we have heavily contributed or anyone saying we've had zero contribution are just homers and supporting their own agenda. I think we have had some impact but it's incredibly small to insignificant. With that being said, I'm fine with reasonable measures to not increase contribution to an already warming cycle because as it moves on it's going to suck more for all of us. I'd prefer not to have to install a 12 ton AC in my house for as long as possible to keep it comfortable.
