Leftists suddenly become experts on Christianity when the topic of socialism/communism arises

And it's always wrong.

Christianity is an individualist philosophy.

Very polarizing and you either LOVE him or HATE him. I think he’s awesome.

While I am with you that he is awesome, I think that he is polarized by others. He himself is not polarizing. He often argues for the benefits of both the left and the right. He s brutal when attacking the extreme right and the extreme left.

One of the reasons that the left is so adamant about him is that he describes their insane inconsistencies. The “alt right” is attacked by most. But very rarely do you hear attacks of the far left…..there is no nickname for those people. the left hates that simple truth.

Peterson is also very pro personal responsibility. He describes it as “cleaning your room”. IE handle the things you can control before trying to control someone/something else.

Love that guy!

I love Malice because he is a true blue anarchist. He obviously swings a bit more right in today’s age because of the current climate, but he’s usually incredibly consistent on hating the government in any form.

Collectivism is anti human nature.

No it’s not. In every millennia collectivism has been practiced. It’s a wonderful form of organizing tiny societies. It cannot work in large societies, because people will only sacrifice their own interests for those they love. When collectivism is tried in large societies people must be forced to participate, and when they do, they shirk the duties that would only bring them 1/250,000,000 of the fruits of those duties.

Yes, we have had people band together for protection since the dawn of time.

There are weak people, have always been weak people who require protection. Self actualization cannot be achieved when you rely on others for your security or sustenance.

Tribalism is a curse on humanity.

This description by the poster of Peterson’s thoughts on Communism versus personal responsibility is not exactly on point.

Peterson talks about finding meaning in life by taking responsibility (sacrificing) first for yourself, then for your family, and ultimately for the larger community.

He makes the point that you can’t start “fixing the world” until you get your own act in order.

He correctly points out that communism focuses on the inequalities of groups without understanding that hierarchies (inequalities) are intrinsic to human existence, and cannot be “fixed” or “leveled off” by suppressing the individual.

It’s always the most idiotic among us who slam guys with IQ’s 60 points higher than theirs. I have this mental image of a dullard like you drooling all over your chin criticizing a guy with unbelievable critical thinking and verbal discipline skills. Lol. Stay in the short bus lane, baw.

I don’t know anything about this Peterson guy but it sounds like he’s worth checking into.

Even my mom loved his "12 Rules" book. His podcasts with Joe Rogan are a very mild and interesting introduction to him.

Best lectures are from his 12 Rules tour in Europe 2018.
I think since then between personal issues and IMO some outside influences, he’s cooled his jets.
He was a terror to progressives from 2016 thru 2019 though.
