I like it, but I think my Lafayette douche-like heritage might be clouding my judgment.

Thanks in advance.

WTF is up with Lafayette BAWS and their need to have a big arse pocket knife at all times?

In my opinion, Damascus steel is best used in small amounts, so it is actually most useful as a pocketknife or small blade.

I think you can go with this one. The Buck-style blade is a classic design.

I think it's nice but did they not have a ninja star in Damascus?

Looks cool, but I can't have a pocket knife without a pocket clip anymore.

I like Damascus steel a lot...it is just cool looking as hell. I do understand that due to the composition and layered makeup, it is prone to corrosion, so you may want to be careful where you use it.

It definitely rusts, which kinda sucks. But they look cool as hell, and are very dense. They're difficult to sharpen. But who wants a knife that is delicate. I've neglected the hell out of mine. But I just use it on a jobsite or when camping
