Make sure it's been approved by FDA (even if through EUA process) and not some of those coming from China other countries have found to be crap.

Had one done. Came back negative. Had something nasty with all the symptoms after Mardi Gras, but must have been something else.
I see many people saying they think they already had it, and I was one of them. So, this has changed my opinion a good bit about this whole thing.

I’m doing antibody testing in Mont Belvieu, TX. Done around 250+ so far.
I was negative.
We’re using Vibrant Labs in CA. The test covers four specific antigens for IgG, IgM, and IgA. Therefore, it tests for 12 markers.
Don’t remember exact numbers, but both specificity and sensitivity are 95+%.

Yeah that’s what I was told as well. It’s was actually closer to 98%

I’ve had many people say they just knew they had it due to bad symptoms this past winter. A few were positive, but most weren’t.
Had three out of four kids in a family positive.
Had an 81 y/o man test IgG positive and he said he can’t remember the last time he had a cold or any other complaints.
Had about 1/3 positive out of the first 30, which surprised me. Since then it’s significantly reduced. Not sure if exact number, but overall we’ve seen about 7-8% positive.

It's 13-28 days for developing Covid-19 antibodies (seroconversion).

Do you remember what test you had done? Sensitivity and specificity numbers are kind of using low samples quantities due to rush to get them out, but false negatives have been possible.
False negatives are very possible & more likely for rapid flu test, so most people thinking they had Wuhan Dec - early Feb because of negative flu tests probably didn't & had flu. Still there are several studies across globe confirming a lot of people are going to test positive above confirmed case numbers. Just not everyone or even close to half of those that tested negative for flu with similar symptoms.

Maybe. But some of these test have a 15+% false-negative rate. That's just a byproduct of the rush-to-market.
