Covid Deaths by country
Australia - 2,387 deaths
U.S.A - 836,000 deaths and counting
U.K. - 150,000 deaths
Brazil - 620,000 deaths
EDIT: I was just curious why the deaths were so slow but after reading some stuff it’s because they shut everything down basically. *I fricked up!*

You know... we could have zero car deaths if we made the speed limit 5 mph everywhere.

They are probably only counting true covid deaths.

Australia population is like 25 million right?

What if I told you I didn’t care if we had double our current death toll?

Some people believe that living in a free society is more important than individual lives

Hmmm. You don't seem to understand what communism is. Just an observation.

I'm sure most of these deaths have other complications than covid. Probably 3/4.

Freedom is more important than lives

you know, how about we start with using per capita metrics and then we can go from there
there is no sense is delving deeper into the discussion when you are comparing apples to oranges right out of the gate
but to prepare you for the second layer of dialouge: Australia is an island nation whose borders are infinitely more securable than most other nations and their populace gave up an immense amount of freedom to their government to delay the inevitable. I find their strategies would be largely ineffective if we tried them domestically and the associated loss of freedom would well past my person line of adherence. People at scale, including myself, would fully ignore the government and attempt to subvert their restraints on our freedom.

The CDC director just said over 75% of “covid deaths” occurred in people with at least four comorbidities. Since Biden can’t shut down covid, suddenly all this data is getting shared publicly.

Have you seen China's numbers? Those guys have been on top of this from the beginning. Chasing people with drones, welding their doors shut so they can't leave their homes, and dragging people through clinics against their will are just a few of the many things the government did to protect the citizens.

Well if it saves just 833,613 lives…

That's not the comforting statistic you think it is.
