A block off esplanade and a few blocks from BSJ. If the house passes inspection that’s a steal.

Well that’s all of New Orleans. This is one of the best locations to live in the city.

And there isn’t a good public school that admits based on neighborhood within 20 miles of this house so if free school is what you need you are in the wrong metropolitan area period.

You know who buys that shite, not the blacks, the white liberals with a BLM bumper sticker on their Subaru.

A better buy would be this house in the 7th Ward. Beautiful home in a rapidly gentrifying area.

I follow real estate closely in New Orleans. That is across the street from where my aunt used to live. Assuming no big inspection issues, that a good price for that neighborhood.

People have been forecasting a downturn in nola real estate for years...all it does is rise.

I appreciate that y'all enjoy living in Denham/Ascension Parish in your "mansion" in a clear cut subdivision, but you clearly don't understand real estate.

BTW, I agree with crime/tax issues. Its why I live in old metairie and drive to downtown in 6 minutes everyday. If you remove crime/tax issues, i would be in this neighborhood or uptown in a heartbeat.

Compared to what?, In that area they will get more than asking price.

There’s a lot of crappy, over-priced houses in iffy neighborhoods in NOLA. That house is not one of them.

Where exactly is all this money that will supposedly pay these sky high mortgages coming from though?

I like that one. I also like this one at $163 sq ft. But admittedly, I know nothing about NOLA real estate and neighborhoods.

Nola.com:

8 people shot in New Orleans East on I-10 Service Road, NOPD says.

Welcome to Nola.

Yeah my house in DFW is a less then that and I’m paying almost $11k in property taxes. So not laughable to me

Of course, no state income tax so it is not a fair comparison.

Your property taxes are actually going somewhere (decent public schools, functioning infrastructure, etc.) We in Nola have nothing to show for our taxes.
