I write a check every single year to the YMCA to teach "disadvantaged" youth how to swim. Maybe hospitals should hand them out and work it into the bill because this is probably the norm. I see kids hanging out of cars every day.

Our insurance company gave us our first car seat. Did she try that?

What gets me is how they have no shame or humility whatsoever.

They weren't taught right. It's evident from them popping out 6-12 kids with 6-12 different guys. They will deny it and call you a racist, but the reality is they were fricked as kids, and because of that their kids are fricked just like they were.

Is this how it is up around your parts?

I know people will say we don't need government telling us how we should live, etc, but I wouldn't be opposed if the government had some type of penalization or something that would make people think twice about having kids. There are people who think they have to get married and have kids by a certain time in their life, whether or not they can afford it.
I have a relative, I am ashamed to say I am related to, who is in his early 20s. Decided to get married and have a kid. The two of them together can't hold a steady job, always looking for someone to "hook them up". Everything is always someone else's fault, etc. So thats going to be another kid in the world raised with that same mentality,

I'm guessing you and the other poster haven't seen the wailing and gnashing of teeth over voter ID requirements?

In all seriousness was your cousin raised that way?
Just curious based on your post.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a cultural thing. For some reason certain people don't find carseats necessary.
I saw a woman getting into a brand new Lexus LS and I saw something over her shoulder. It was a baby, so small it must have been 20 days old.
She just got in her car with the baby over her shoulder and drove with one hand. I was floored.
If you go to traffic court you'll be surprised how many people are ticketed for stuff like that.

People like this are literally too stupid to reproduce.

I'd say the more restrictions the worse for our society. It sucks, but you have idiots everywhere you go. Too bad their isn't some sort of aptitude test that you need to pass in order to have kids. That would be a tad bit too radical
.
