She should send her husband to pick one up
Truthfully this is sad and not funny at all. I can't even begin to count the hours my wife and I spent prepping the room, researching what was the best car seat out there, and all the other crap we had over prepared for before our first child was born.

Any more gems from her Facebook page?

They give out free car seats in Alabama. No program like that in Louisiana?
Edit: it's national since its WIC. All she had to do was go to a parenting class and they will give you the seat for free.

I would guess he's been pretty slammed getting the baby room at home all ready.

Yeah she should really stop being poor and asking for safety for her child.

So just to be clear. She went have a baby and waited until the minute it was time to leave to try and find a car seat? Did she expect the hospital to hand them out?

Maybe she should be a little more responsible. If she can't afford a child seat how the hell is she gonna support this kid? Oh wait, she won't.

She probably thought it was okay to just leave without one.

She had 9 months to find a car seat. If she was really concerned about the kid's safety she should have thought about this before leaving the hospital.

How about this concept?
Close them fricking legs up tight/quit being a whore and she won't have any kids she can't afford to get a car seat for.
