I think you meant to show the senators who attempted to subjugate your rights, right? Where the real outrage should be?

Yea, I'm sure that's what you meant. Honest mistake.

Yes. I don't care which way you fall on the debate, if you accept $7 million dollars from an organization, you lose all credibility when railing against the alternative (McCain).

On the other hand, many of those numbers are really low. If I was pressured by the NRA to vote a certain way, I'd be pissed if they bought my vote for $35k!

Tell me why you support the proposals.

Go ahead, off to wikipedia to find out why you're mad. I'll check in on you later.

It does. He's butthurt that these Senators chose to uphold your 2 amendment rights, and thinks plastering campaign donations received from the NRA somehow invalidates their correct choice.

You are free to move somewhere that the government disarms you and makes you a walking victim.

Honest questions:

What is wrong with not allowing people on the No Fly list to buy guns??

And what's wrong with a more strenuous background check?

eta: I don't like guns at all BUT I'm not ANTI gun.

Another edit before I get called a dumbass again: I had no idea that a person on the no fly list couldn't find out WHY nor could they appeal it. That's nuts. I don't keep up with every aspect of this -- and I have no clue what's currently involved in a background check for gun purchases.

I like what Adam Carolla said about the NRA's staunch resistance.

He said, the NRA knows how the left is, in that, they are absolutely never satisfied. They always want more until there is nothing left. They know if they budge now, the left will demand even more in the future until there is no 2A.

I don't think bills were limited to the No Fly List. The TSDB (terror watch list) and No Fly List are both secretive and impossible to efficiently appeal. Hence, you can be on them, have your rights stripped, and not know why.

What is wrong with the existing background check?
