That looks worse than the current method of spending over an hour putting together an order, only to be told that half of the items in your cart are out of stock, if you can even get a delivery appointment at all.
Walmart+ is a total waste of money.

Why the frick would anyone need some virtual videogame to purchase items online? Adding items to a cart, like any normal website, is fine. I don't need to see a disembodied hand grab a can of Campbell's soup off a virtual shelf.

One possibility that does sound useful is the ability to block out sections of a real store that you aren't interested in, or cannot have. In VR, you could view an aisle of ACTUAL salad dressings, with the ones containing egg blacked out (if you are allergic to eggs).

This looks like a progressives wet dream. Second thing. The VR assistant isn't diverse enough and too light in the pants. POC want someone who looks like them telling them what to buy. Hmm. Maybe that will be automatic too. Since they know everything about you.
