Weird flex for enforcing covid restrictions.

No they’re not. Why do you people consistently buy into this nonsense?

Hell, just look at what they call themselves and how that's changed over the recent past. Used to be they were the "Police Force"....intimating their job was to "police", or watch over, communities to keep people safe. Now? Now they're "Law Enforcement"...they're "enforcers" and that idea is 100% ingrained in their heads. It may seem like just a simple switch of words but a guy like Frank Luntz has made a living, and forwarded entire political movements, by the simple manipulation of words and language

Are you seriously suggesting that it’s the “law enforcement” crowd who are the master language manipulators?

GTFO!

I just watched main stream liberal media pundits try to convince Americans that burning down buildings, looting, smashing cars, calling for killing cops etc. was non-violent and actually peaceful protesting!

Plenty of other departments adopted that motto too.

I want to know what she was specially arrested for.

Was it curfew?

Here’s the situation. If she is legit having a panic attack and has anxiety issues then she should not be putting herself in the position to wind up arrested.

I don’t even say that to be insensitive. If it’s truly that bad and she can’t handle possible outcomes from certain demonstrations then she needs to avoid them. Some people can handle it and actually are proud to do so.

This is also why I need to know exactly what she was arrested for.

What would be ironically funny is if police forces are disbanded and you punk arse little leftist need em and they not there to protect you. You better be careful what you ask for cause you just may get your asses beat in the ground. I for one would love too see that

I wonder how many of these little pussies still live with mom and dad.

Yes, and the way she was “physically manhandled,” I can see why she had a panic attack..

The police are there to enforce laws on the books. They are the enforcement arm of the state. The whole protect and serve thing is nothing more than a saying especially when you consider that none of them seem to take that saying seriously at all.

Did anyone else hear that guy in the background? "She needs her dialysis!" Bitch, do you have any idea how big a dialysis machine is? And this girl is like 22, so if she needs a dialysis, it'd probably not be a good idea to protest especially in the middle of a pandemic. I'm sure that idiot who said it doesn't know the difference between a dialysis machine and an inhaler.

Controlling crowds doesn't require beating the shite out of people with batons, shooting canisters, or popping rubber projectiles at people.

Peacefully protesting doesn’t require looting stores and burning businesses and churches.

While they may use "To serve and to protect" as a nice sounding public relations slogan they are not required to serve or protect anyone per the USSC.

I saw an article about the UNO athletic director getting stopped in his neighbor hood because he fit the description of a murder suspect. He went into the how he had normalized it an dhow this is not ok and how any man can be stopped for being black.

Like wtf? They act like white people dont get stopped by the police, or have their vehicles searched, or their homes searched.

Look it sucks, but once again you fit the description of a black guy that murdered people. That's not the fault of the police.
