Controlling crowds doesn't require beating the shite out of people with batons, shooting canisters, or popping rubber projectiles at people.

Sometimes it does in fact mean exactly that

You ever been to a concert and they need to move thousands of people for some reason (medical, lightning, people getting pressed too hard on the front rail)? Do they send out the security people to shoot concertgoers or do they get on the PA and ask for cooperation?

A concert is equivalent to protests/riots? lib logic on display

They're there to serve and protect the community. Roughing up people exercising their 1st amendment rights, even if they are yelling some mean things at the police, isn't serving or protecting the community.

protecting the community right now means getting all these pieces of shite out of the streets so they cant burn down any more innocent peoples businesses

The dick sucking that this board does to justify police brutality is laughable. Seriously, how could you justify what that Buffalo police office did to that old man

If the police tell you to go home or move out of the way and you don’t why is it surprising that they would use non lethal force? Pissed because they think the police are killing people then get pissed when the police use tear gas and rubber bullets designed to prevent lethal force. They won’t be happy until there are no police.

For instance, the guy in buffalo, it was hardly a push. Accidents happen. Don’t walk into a line of advancing police that are telling you to stand down.

Same people intimating this viewpoint now we're up in arms about their right to assemble during Covid lockdown.

Just saying.

saw an article about the UNO athletic director getting stopped in his neighbor hood because he fit the description of a murder suspect

Right, so he was stopped as a direct result of black crime.

Black crime has ripples that effect everyone, not just the murder victims.

Wait, I thought the line was that one must follow the orders of police or accept repercussions?

You think what they did to him is police brutality?

You act like police should do a physical exam and evaluate everyone’s medical conditions before they interact with them. Sorry not sorry he has poor balance and tipped over from a push that 99.9% of the population wouldn’t have even felt.

It’s like the video in the OP of the girl having a panic attack. Should police release everyone having a panic attack?

Not if it infringes on your constitutional rights. You have no rights to burn or steal other people's shite. One is a crime and the other isn't. Don't be obtuse.

So we agree that people should ignore the curfews and have the right to assemble.

Cool.

Yes, until you do something stupid like throw a brick. Then you should get the ever living shite beat of you.
