The easy part is getting paid once you have a ton of followers, usually in the millions.
The hard part is getting to that point. They network with each other, so one hot girl with 100,000 followers that posts slutty pictures of themselves will post a picture of another slutty chick with 100,000 followers and vice versa. This draws from each others' "follower pool" and they both grow.
It also self-markets itself and compounds as it gets higher. The higher your "follower" number is, the more people want to follow you because they subconsciously think "this must be awesome if that many people are following her".
This builds their numbers so eventually their promotional offers are better. Even the chicks with 50k followers get fit tea and flat tummy tea money. They just get paid by number of followers they have.
I know a girl from Ole Miss that is cute and pretty cool, but far from slutty and definitely not an OT 8+, but she gets paid by resorts to visit and instagram them with a link to her blog where she writes reviews.
I'm very jealous of her life. Almost every weekend she is in a new part of the world that is gorgeous. She probably clears 150k, not including every single trip being completely free and paid for.
