Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen have been living what most people on Instagram would call “life goals” since they met in Fiji last year. Not only do they spend their days documenting their world travels with flawless photos, they get paid up to $9000 USD for each one they post.
With Jack now at 2 million Instagram followers, and Lauren close behind with 1.2 million, the couple now makes enough money from the brands and tourism companies that sponsor them to fully supplement regular adventures around the globe, as well as a home base in Bali.
In a Q&A recently posted to his official website, DoYouTravel, Jack shared a few tips that helped propel him and Lauren to Insta-fame, and you may want to take notes.
“I edit all my photos in the same kind of style with my own lightroom presets,” he said of their dreamy ‘matching’ effect. He also added that the couple mostly shoots around 1 hour after sunrise, since that tends to be the quietest time of day. The couple reportedly won’t take less than $3000 USD for a post.
Moral of the story...be hot...find an equally hot partner...travel the world and get paid.

I've fricked much prettier women, if I knew I could have kidnapped them in order to make a living off of social media, I would have. Damn it. Monetization is a bitch.

I dont understand completely how one monetizes a picture. As one that doesnt have instagram, nor have I ever intentionally looked up another person's instagram, the concept is a bit foreign to me.
so, they post pictures all the time, just as a function of their daily lives. However, if a company wants their product featured in a pic, they have to pay first?
or, do they not post anything at all without money in hand?
how does this work?

They are models who get paid to take pictures

Yeah it's like a magazine. They have a bunch of photos of them that people like to see, so companies will then pay them to feature their product or activity and talk about it in their instagram. "We had the best daiquiri at dicks daiquiris in Bali" and post a picture.
It seems like a lot of money, but $4000 to post that out to 2 mil people is pretty solid.
Go look at Larry Leo's workout girls and they feature supplements and businesses all the time.
