My first, along with 25% of our starting football team at the best private school we had was a Jewish chick. Her parents owned a great deal of downtown in our city, her grandparents had tattoos from the camps in Europe. They are a resilient bunch. God love em, as hard as they defy him.

I met some of them in Abu Dhabi and met 2 ex Israel military gals in Lafayette, who had moved there in 2008. They were involved in the war in 2006 in Lebanon when Hezbollah was fighting Israel as that soldier was captured inside Lebanon and they came looking for him.
I flew from Abu Dhabi to Beirut the day before the bomb that blew a huge hole in the runway at the airport. I flew there to see my sister and her 2 kids who had flown in from Lafayette to be with their dad and family (dad is Lebanese)
