I grew up with strict parents that preached drug propaganda and how pot will kill your brain and is a gateway drug

Now I’m all for it being legal and think it’s ridiculous that people are in jail for pot related offenses

Gay marriage.

I've gotten to the point where I believe everyone has a right to be happy, even if I think it's weird that they want their hair to be green.

I used to freak out over National debt and handouts.

Now I don’t give two fricks will take every single dime I can from feds or state.

Also I despised suing after car wrecks until my son got rear ended and I didn’t lawyer up immediately. Got hosed on settlement. Never again.

If someone so much as taps my car, I’m flopping on the pavement writhing in “pain” and speed dialing Morris Bart.

I’m not proud of these, btw. But it is what it is.

WOW.

So your 180 went from having self respect to having none.

I used to think every word coming out of Alex Jones' mouth was pure fiction. Now I trust him more than any "mainstream" news outlet (which isn't saying much, but he does drop some golden nuggets sometimes).

Fair assessment I suppose on these two issues. No argument here.

There may be more if I think about it.

I was a fox news neocon. Made fun of "paul-bots" in 2008 and 2012.

Then I found Dave Smith's show, and read Hazlitt, Hoppe and Rothbard. Now I don't even turn the TV on unless it's playing Pandora or football.

Almost nothing in the hyperfrenzied news cycle matters unless it's around more than 48hrs.

Same. Funny how so many of those “conspiracy theories” became true.

I used to think Biden was a horrible person and corrupt as the day is long. I was afraid he would be a terrible, incompetent turd who would abdicate his job and enrich himself with graft.

Thank God the last eight months has proven me so wrong.

My stance on marijuana. I'm now pro-legalization

Conservatism. I used to think that right wing conservatives were out to get me and keep me from having any fun, like bad novel characters, because TV, movies and music told me so when I was younger.

Now I realize that TV etc. is and always was my mortal enemy.

Yep. Not just legalization, but as legal as buying tomato seeds at the hardware store.

Yeah I was left leaning and voted Democrat until around April or so of last year. Now I’m pretty far in the other direction.

Old man stuff is great. I used to dread cutting the grass. Absolutely hated it. Now I have to make myself wait until it’s long enough so the neighbors don’t think I’m crazy for mowing too much.
