Oh yeah, before bellum. Of course.
Bellum means war. So antebellum is 'before the (civil) war'.
Same root in Belligerent, Bellicose, and 'casus belli'

Did you know that "valley" to the west/Southwest of Highland Road use to be the Mississippi River bed?
I know the current delta is geologically very young but didn’t know that about that area near Highland. It’s interesting learning about the paths the Mississippi River has taken to the Gulf over the last 5,000 years.

There’s a glitch in the simulation…

I recently learned that garbage bags are inside out in the box. You are supposed to turn them right-side out before you use them. They are less likely to leak or tear when used correctly.

Someone on here posted that the gas indicator display on your vehicle has an arrow next to it indicating which side of your car the access panel is on.
The day I saw this on the OT, I immediately went out to my car to see if true. Damn sure is true!

Not that I didn’t notice but always wondered about my younger years and “jamming” a lot of my fingers playing sports and stuff. Recent X-rays actually show I’ve fractured a few of them especially my ring ringer which to this day is still slightly fatter than the one on my other hand.

For example Highland got its name because it was higher ground relative to the area around it.
Did you know that Highland, where it runs along the "valley" (natural bank of the Mississippi River) was the old wagon road, and the state has ownership of it only by usage. There is no servitude or right of way other than the part that was used.
which means that, in order to widen Highland Rd., the government would be required to expropriate (and pay fair market value) for some of the most valuable land in the state. Another consideration is that people who live in those valuable houses have lots of political clout.

The 1st line in Metallica's Master of Puppets is
"End of Passion Play"
...won't say what I have been singing all these years, but was not that.

Never gave much thought to the word breakfast until I realized a few years ago that it means to break a fast since you're fasting while sleeping at night.

Well shite. Google seems to confirm this.

I can honestly say that I know this fact, I see it on the box, but I’ve NEVER used it.
Anyone else?
