Sorry to hear that. OT is crazy. A few days ago ppl are boasting they're making 7k/month

I only drive on weekends to make up the saving I spent during the lockdown. Ironically, I was making around 7k a month when I started Ubering fulltime for a few months in 2021. I was also working 70 - 80 hours a week to earn that much.
I've been driving for Uber for over a year, and it is starting too not be worth it. It is also rare for people to tip now a days; I can't imagine doing it for a living right now.
Men love what they are attracted to, and women are attracted to what they love. That guy must have something emotionally attractive for the women to be so interested in him.

I'm not sure what your business is but I think $100 - $150 p/hr is fair, depending on the skill. I wouldn't ask for a down payment but would definitely charge a prep fee for the hours it takes you to plan out the project.

I remember their "Kill the White People" t-shirt, lol

Loved the Caterie but was really sad when Shanahans closed. Drive by that building all the time and it brings back some great memories.

This.

I know I can do it all, but I don't want to do it all. I believe in equality, etc. but it has been taken to the extreme. Women need men just as much as men need women. When did it turn into a war to see who is better? We are made to compliment each other, not compete against each other.
As a single woman over 50, I can say the same about men. People my age have too much baggage and I have no patience to deal with them. I agree that it is nice not having worry about being in a relationship and now I can do what I want without having to answer to anyone. Maybe one day I will start to feel lonely but I am definitely not even close to that point yet.
I had the same issue with my daughter and we ended up putting her on Daytrona, with behavioral therapy. It's an ADHD medication but it was night and day for her ability to control her meltdowns and her anxiety level. I didn't want to put her medication but the older she got, the worse the meltdowns were. It really helped her overall quality of life. She started making friends, going to birthday parties and sleep overs. She was still socially awkward and had the same struggles, but it wasn't as overwhelming for her. She aged out of it at around 12 and then went on a low dose of Adderall.
Same problem where I work. We used to get around 60 applications for an entry level accountant but now we are lucky to get 15, with 5 that qualify for the position.
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
Has anyone else noticed the red tent under the College drive overpass? It has been there for weeks, but I will admit that they have kept their yard tidy.
Saw the same thing off of Jefferson a few months ago, and then they all disappeared at the same time

I drive for Uber and we have to wear mask. I pull mine down a little in between pick ups because it easier, also my windows are tinted and it may just look like I am alone but I really have a passenger.
I was able to get same day prescription glasses from Smarter Eyewear by Trader Joe's after my other glasses were stolen out of my car. I just went to Walmart for the eye exam.
I recently learned that garbage bags are inside out in the box. You are supposed to turn them right-side out before you use them. They are less likely to leak or tear when used correctly.
Wow, I forgot about how different the internet was; I did not even know TD existed then, but I remember being on a chat with some colleagues at LSU, and the last thing typed was "See you on the other side.."
The song on the Baton Rouge Clinic commercial, and what makes it worse is that it is about 5 mins long.
I say that you dodged a bullet.

I went out on a date with a guy that spent the first 30 minutes of it talking about how dogs should not be allowed to sleep on the bed and how gross it was, etc. so I pulled out my phone and secretly ordered an Uber, then "went to the bathroom".

If someone you just met is so ruffled by that, there is no reason to waste your time on them.
Mono is also going around and has very similar symptoms.
