I began the 80's in the second semester of my 2nd grade year at 7 years old and finished it with my first semester of 12th grade at 17, and the entire decade was glorious. So many good memories in this thread. Great time to be alive.

For some, it never left. But it is on the comeback trail.

The Old 3-wheeler

The old man bought one when I was a teen so I would take it on our dirt bike trails hauling srse faster and faster.

Until I went up pirate's mountain, damn thing flipped back throwing me off then went airborne and landed on my ribcage full force.

I went to the ER and the tech was a neighbor who says, "I've been waiting on you".

Screwed something up where every time I ate it would hurt going down - like it bent my esophagus

Plus I had numerous friends get hurt on them things

I still think the Iroc-Z is the best looking Camaro ever!

No car will ever be finer than a first generation Camaro. The second and third generation Camaros are cool too, though.

When I was a teenager in the 90’s I thought those 90’s Camaros were cool.
Over time however, I realized how disgustingly ugly they really were.

Zoomers can't identify with the 80's? Mind blown.

we’d use a butter knife on the two buttons to set high scores.

Nothing is more 80s than malls and we had a brand new one right across the road. It was glorious going to the arcade, couple of record stores then hit up the rock candy store and pizza joint.

Galaga, Moon Patrol, Crazy Climber...

When you could go out to NO East without feeling like it was a death sentence.

When flying and getting on a plane wasn't a ridiculous ordeal...and folks could meet you right as you came off the plane.

When MTV actually played music videos.

When Tiger Stadium was much louder and more fun. If you think that it's better now, name the Sonic.
