Don't be like that. Jackson has wonderful fried catfish as well.



And IIRC, strip clubs in Jackson are pretty much anything goes.

Go to the outlet mall in Pearl. Go see a MS Braves game in Pearl. Just get out of Jackson

E&L barbecue. Trust me on this one. The entire menu is good but I recommend the pulled pork sandwich. You’ll never be able to only eat just one however, so order like 3. They are pretty cheap.

1. Bright Lights Belhaven Nights is this weekend. It's a music/outdoor festival in the Belhaven neighborhood. The Weeks and Robert Randolph are playing this year.

2. Civil Rights Museum. Recently constructed, top notch if you're into museums.

3. Museum of Art. Also pretty top notch.

4. If you have kids, the Natural Science Museum area off 55 is apparently the bees knees.

5. There's always a ton of local music playing. Not the same scene as New Orleans, but it's still good. Check out Jackson Free Press for local listings.

6. MS Braves games.
