What you driving now? If its still the Charger I would advise that you rent a prius. Charger will have the window busted out with a quickness.

Go to collierville and ask white fighters if they are Grizzlies fans. See them succinctly segue from the NBA to their 13 year olds travel soccer team in under 5 seconds

Not fine dining but go to Rendezvous or Interstate for BBQ.

I wouldn't associate Beale Street with good food. Downtown is pretty walkable though and there's Rendezvous and especially Gus's near.

Gus' fried chicken, bro. Eat that before you consider getting BBQ.

-For nicer dining, check out Hog & Hominy and Restaurant Iris.
-Midtown Memphis has some good bars and restaurants.
-Wiseacre Brewing, Tennessee Brewery, Hammer & Ale are all cool bars.
-Gus's fried chicken, Leonard's BBQ, and Central BBQ (by the Civil Rights Museum) are great.
-Check out Overton Park/Memphis zoo, The Peabody, and a baseball game if they are playing.
-If you want a real late night, hit up Raiford's Disco.

Enjoy. Memphis is an underrated town.

Walk Beale Street and then keep walking North a couple more blocks and ask the next six persons you meet there if they'd like to party at your suite in the Peabody. Make sure they know you are staying at the Peabody, you don't want them to wrongly profile you.

Lighten up, Francis.
